Submission
The Council made a submission to the Senate Economics References Committee’s Inquiry into Social Housing on 23 September 2026.
The submission sets out ways to increase social housing and improve outcomes for tenants. The Council calls for:
- national leadership and collaboration
- long-term investment
- support for the social housing sector
- better reporting, data and evaluation.
