Submission
The Council made a submission into the Productivity Commission’s inquiry on housing supply regulation on 23 September 2026.
The Council’s submission supports reforms to improve the housing system and increase housing supply.
The submission identifies priorities for:
- development rights
- zoning and housing development capacity
- performance-based planning
- development contributions
- social and affordable housing
- the Australian Government’s role.
